The Workshops
Let your group be immersed into the world of diversity, with this exciting, interactive and fun learning experience. Originally designed as The Disability Experience and delivered to many conferences around Victoria, the workshop has been upgraded to be The Lived Experience Project. TLEP was created to give people a deeper understanding of what a person experiences living with co-morbidity and intersectionality. It delivers learning beyond the text book with an outside of the box guided activity. In groups of 5-7, participants are given resources and a set of rules to follow during the activity. These will simulate a disability, a mental health condition or diverse group. We complete the guided activity and then open up for discussions. The extended version continues on with a multiple simulation per person and a different, more complex activity to complete.

Focus points
The workshops are designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to tailor the focus to your specific needs. Every session incorporates discussions on disability, mental health, and LGBTQIASB+ inclusion, with the option to emphasize any of these areas more deeply. Additionally, we can expand the scope to address intersectional experiences, including:
- Age
- First Nations Communities
- Culture
- Gender
- Victim of bullying
- Children experiences
- Low income & socioeconomic
- Workplace discrimination
- Youth
- Religion
